Do you need my water and electricity?
We carry our own water supply, so you don’t need to provide any. We do, however, require access to an outdoor or indoor power socket to operate our equipment (we have our own extension). If you’re able to supply water as well, we offer a 10% discount.
Where does the car need to be parked?
A driveway, private parking space or quiet residential street all work fine. We need roughly one extra car's width alongside the vehicle to work safely. If you're in a flat or on a busy road, get in touch and we'll find a sensible spot together.
How long will it take?
An Express Refresh takes around 90 minutes, an Exterior/Interior Detail around three hours, and a Full Detail most of a day. We'll confirm timings when we quote.
Do I need to be at home while you work?
Not at all. Plenty of customers leave the keys and head to work. We just need access to the car, an electricity plug and somewhere safe to park. We'll message you when we arrive and when we've finished.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain isn't a problem for most work. However, for a full exterior detail, dry or sheltered conditions are preferred. If the forecast turns, we'll contact you the day before and rebook at no cost.
How much does it actually cost?
The prices on this page are guides for a standard medium-sized car in average condition. Larger vehicles, heavy soiling, pet hair or long-neglected paint take more time, so we always confirm a fixed price before we start. You'll never get a surprise bill.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer, card or cash on the day — whatever's easiest. Payment is due once you've seen the finished car and you're happy with it.
How often should I get my car detailed?
A maintenance wash every four to six weeks keeps a car looking sharp. A full detail once or twice a year protects the paint and helps hold resale value. If you've had a ceramic coating, an annual check-over is usually all it needs.
